Peace is a multidimensional and multifaceted issue whose full realization depends on the synergy of different aspects. The anthropology of peace in its broadest sense, beyond the mere absence and resolution of conflict, emphasizes that deepening peaceful relations is not possible and feasible without attention to and commitment to epistemological and anthropological foundations. This article, by posing the question of what are the anthropological requirements of peace in the postcolonial approach?, argues that from the perspective of peace anthropology, the former colonialist and the colonized of the previous era in the new era and context after the end of colonialism, while having the need to have a critical understanding of their assumptions about themselves and others, and based on the belief that their identity is developed in relation to and interaction with each other, can take steps for peaceful interaction according to the requirements of the new era. The methodology of the present article, by adopting a theoretical and normative approach, considers the anthropological requirements of peace in the postcolonial era as an ideal conceptual model in order to outline the perspective of the aforementioned issue.
