The Iranian Peace Studies Association, after a decade of continuous effort in producing and expanding the literature on peace and non‑violence, is now a leading association among social science and interdisciplinary fields in Iran. Relying on its strong scientific and cultural background, the Association has established itself as a reference authority in the field of peace studies in Iran. Considering the conceptual and practical developments of peace, especially in the modern and postmodern era—where peace is no longer defined merely as the absence of war, but is measured through economic, social, cultural, psychological, and environmental indicators—the Association is proud to announce that it is now publishing the Quarterly Journal of Peace Studies, with an international and national editorial board and a professional executive team. In order to fulfill the scientific and research goals of the Association and to advance peace knowledge in Iran, we invite esteemed scholars and researchers to submit innovative, scholarly, and original articles that meet scientific standards in both national and international contexts.
