Tolerance, as one of the fundamental principles in Iranian culture and history, plays a key role in shaping the Iranian School of Peace. This study delves deeply into the concept of tolerance, seeking to answer the question of how tolerance can be introduced as the central node of the Iranian School of Peace and why this concept has gained significance throughout Iran's history and politics. The research aims to analyze the position of tolerance within the Iranian School of Peace and examine its cultural, historical, and political impacts on Iran’s domestic and foreign policies. Moreover, the study seeks to identify the factors that strengthen the concept of tolerance as the central node in Iranian peace discourse. Given the rise in international and cultural tensions, a historical and literary review of Iran’s tradition of tolerance and peace could offer practical strategies for international interactions and fostering coexistence.
The main objectives of this research include analyzing the role of tolerance in Iranian culture from historical, mystical, and literary perspectives and presenting Iranian teachings as a model for international peace. This study employs a qualitative method with a historical-analytical approach, utilizing credible historical, literary, and political sources to analyze texts and documents.
