Abstract
Introduction
In the modern world, achieving sustainable peace is a fundamental issue. In this regard, paying attention to classical Persian literature, as one of the manifestations shaping human identity, plays a pivotal role. In other words, Persian literature, framed within the concept of "developmental literature," can act as a catalyst and a foundational factor in forming the paradigm of sustainable peace. Adopting a developmental perspective toward literature allows us to consider key themes such as the relationship between humans and themselves, God, nature, and others. These elements are major indicators in Persian literature; by emphasizing them, we can pave the way for realizing sustainable peace. It is crucial to note that peace is only achieved when the intellectual discourse of a society undergoes transformation. Without considering the intellectual, cultural, and cognitive elements of a society, no path toward development and the expansion of peace can be found. Furthermore, the Iranian paradigm of peace represents an understanding of the relationship between humans and "the Other." If this "Otherness" is not interpreted based on collective interests, it can lead to severe negative consequences.
